Few Words From Priyanka Chopra’s Thank you message
In Priyanka Chopra’s thank you message, she wrote, “So, there is no question the impact COVID-19 has had across the globe. It has been unimaginable for all of us. There are 17 million people displaced in camps and shelters around the world including facilities here in the US, that impact is particularly devastating,” this post was painful yet helpful for all the hearts that are sinking in helplessness and disparity.
Besides her performance, she also uploaded snaps of other stars, including Elton John. The show was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert. It was a massive hit and had managed to raise 4127 million that will go for the welfare of the people who are devastated in this worldly pandemic.
In her tweet, she added, “I have witnessed first-hand, some of the overcrowded, and unliveable conditions in refugee camps. Social distancing there is simply not an option. In order to curb the spread of COVID-19 in these specific communities, the needs are basic – healthcare, clean water, sanitation.”
The last words
The sky is pink star ended her tweet by lauding WHO and their constant efforts to bring the world back on its feet. “Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation are two organizations that I am personally very proud of to stand alongside to fight against COVID-19.
